City continues to work toward connectivity, enhancing safety

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The city of Fayetteville now has a total of 316 miles of sidewalks citywide with the most recent 5.65 miles being finished this year. In 2026, the City plans to continue expanding connectivity with an investment of $6 million for an additional 9.33 miles of sidewalks, funded by City Capital Funds, the 2022 voter-approved GO Bond and other grants.
