CULTURAL ARTS FULL DAY CAMP PROGRAMS
These combined camp programs offer participants the experience of both a cultural arts camp program as well as the experience of traditional summer day camp.
Cultural Arts Summer Camp
Lights…Camera...Action! For all aspiring actors and those who want to build self-confidence, this dynamic FULL DAY acting camp will provide a well-rounded theatre experience to those with big dreams. Campers will learn the basic audition and acting techniques, learn about backstage management, working with a local professional artist on set, props, costumes, etc… and will learn music and dance routines for a full musical production. At the end of this ONE WEEK session, campers will perform on stage in front of other camps, family and friends.

Behind the Lens: Teen Camp
Behind the Lens is a hands-on teen camp where participants use their phones to create reels, photos, videos, and short films from a teen perspective. Campers will learn the basics of filming, storytelling, editing, and creative expression while turning everyday moments into powerful content. Teens will collaborate, build confidence, and walk away with original content and new skills in digital media and storytelling performance.
Camp is held at Fayetteville Cumberland Youth Council building. Registration deadline is June 11.

CULTURAL ARTS HALF DAY PROGRAMS
Lil’ Picasso Art Camp!
Art Camp introduces ages 3-5 to art through playful painting, sculpting, and creative exploration. Campers build fine motor skills, confidence, and imagination while creating colorful masterpieces to take home. (Combo Camp option also available.)

Beginner Hip Hop Camp
Ideal for kids and teens with little to no dance experience, this camp introduces basic hip hop moves and rhythms in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Participants will learn foundational techniques such as footwork, body isolation, and simple choreography, all while having a blast and making new friends. Mixed Up Art Camp!
This mixed media class is an awesome class that works with several different forms of art and craft materials including clay, paint, oil pastel, and more! Your child will be sure to enjoy fun and exciting projects. Campers will explore their imaginations and make a different art project every day to take home. (Combo Camp option also available.)

Masterpiece Art Camp
Young artists will enjoy learning the artistic style of native North Carolina artists while making collages using acrylic paints, magazines, and more. On the last day of class, campers will show off their work in an open house setting just like an art museum. Your child will be sure to enjoy fun and exciting projects! Campers will explore their imaginations and make various art projects each day to take home. (Combo Camp option also available.)

ORANGE STREET SCHOOL PROGRAMS
The Orange Street Music Lab The newly restored Orange Street School features the Orange Street Music Lab - a full recording studio with top-notch sound and equipment. It includes a dedicated room for vocals, drums, guitars, and piano, and is open to both students and the public. When not in use by youth programs, the studio is available to rent. The space is designed to help young people express themselves through music, from jazz and blues to modern styles. For studio bookings, call 910-433-1021.
Workshop Series
Join us as we partner to host a dynamic series of free workshops at the Orange Street Music Lab, celebrating culture, creativity, and the power of the arts. These hands-on sessions are designed to inspire teens through music education, cultural exploration, and artistic expression. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about diverse musical styles, develop new skills, and connect with local artists and instructors who are passionate about empowering the next generation. Guitar Jam
Ready to rock? This beginner-friendly guitar workshop is perfect for young musicians who want to learn how to strum, play chords, and perform simple songs. Students will receive hands-on instruction on guitar basics, including how to hold the instrument, finger placement, strumming patterns, and reading basic music or chord charts

Piano & Keyboarding Class
Learn the basics of piano and keyboard in a fun, supportive setting! Students will build foundational skills - hand placement, rhythm, reading simple music, and playing songs - while gaining confidence and creativity through

Two-Six Labs
A state-of-the-art tech space supported by partners like Google and Microsoft.
