Bomb Threat

 

 (Fayetteville, NC)- On October 11, 2025, at approximately 4:56 p.m., officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to a bomb threat at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, 1638 Owen Dr. The hospital received a call via telephone stating that the hospital would be blown up in 13 minutes by an individual carrying explosives. Officers responded and secured the scene. After a thorough investigation and search of the premises it was determined that there was no credible threat to the safety of the hospital or its patrons.

 

The hospital has now returned to normal operations.

 

An investigation into the origination of the call is being conducted.
