Public Safety

Fayetteville Police Department

Improving the quality of life by creating a safe and secure environment for the citizens we serve and always acting with integrity to reduce crime, create partnerships, and build trust, while treating everyone with respect, compassion and fairness.

Fayetteville Fire Department

Preparing for, reducing, and mitigating all risks facing the City of Fayetteville while serving with respect by providing fire protection and first responder services.

Office of Community Safety

The Office of Community Safety (OCS) provides civilian assistance to reduce the risk of violent interactions involving law enforcement and the public.

Office of Emergency Management

Working to identify and analyze the hazards that may impact the local community to mitigate or minimize the effects of a man-made or natural disaster that may occur within the city limits.

CrimeStoppers

Citizens are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477 (TIPS) if they have information regarding criminal activity. This number is manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and is designated for Crime Stoppers information only. All calls are kept in complete confidence.

Youth Protection Safety Ordinance

To protect juveniles from victimization and exposure to criminal activity by establishing a curfew for juveniles 16 years of age and under.
