The Fire Training Facility is the primary facility for the Training Division. Located on approximately eleven acres of land, the building itself is roughly 13,000 square feet.

Station 1, Constructed 1997 is located in downtown Fayetteville and serves a residential area with significant high risk commercial properties in the district. Main travel thoroughfares are Eastern Blvd., Rowan St., and a portion of I95. This district contains several multi story structures, Main St., the County Law Enforcement building and Court House.

Station 7 in a residential area. The service area is the northern side of the city as well as the campus of Methodist University.

Station 10 is at the Fayetteville Regional Airport. The firefighters are responsible for airport firefighting, medical and safety at the airport facility and assist with the security of the air field grounds.

Station 14 is over 19,000 square feet and includes a in instructional program of fire science for high school students, Fayetteville Technical Community College Associates Degree students, and Fayetteville State University Bachelors Degree students. It serves the campus of Fayetteville State University as well as residential and commercial properties.

Station 15 serves the western part of Fayetteville and has offices used by The Fayetteville Police Department.

Station 16 is a single engine company station housed in a temporary station leased to the FFD from Cape Fear Medical Center. A permanent station is in the works currently. This station covers the Cedar Creek area and is necessary to decrease response times to remote areas within the city limits.
