Volunteering
Thank you for your interest in volunteering to coach with Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks and Recreation (FCPR). If you want to coach more than one (1) team in a season, please understand that staff cannot customize game schedules and there will likely be conflicts with game times.
Contact your local Recreation Center if you are unsure as to the expiration date on a current background check or if you're inquiring about the status of a background check.
Please review the Volunteer Policy(PDF, 88KB) and Disqualifying Factors for Volunteers(PDF, 113KB) prior to submitting your application for a Background Check.
Background checks are required for all interested candidates. By submitting an application for Background Check, candidates are agreeing to adhere to the Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks & Recreation Code of Conduct(PDF, 99KB).

The coaches PowerPoint has been prepared for you to provide basic information about FCPR programs. The PowerPoint contains items such as rules, practices, important dates to remember, registration districts and procedures, coach recruitment, player draft procedures, sports information, etc.
