FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - A portion of Ray Avenue between Maiden Lane and Hay Street will temporarily be closed Sept. 8 through Sept. 12 to accommodate necessary repairs on the surrounding sidewalks.
During this period, Ray Avenue will be completely inaccessible to vehicular and pedestrian traffic between the specified intersections. Detour signs will be installed to accommodate traffic flow.
Motorists are advised to plan accordingly for alternative routes and allow for additional travel times.
Fayetteville Area System of Transportation (FAST) bus Routes four and five will operate on a detour until sidewalk repairs are completed. Passengers should check RideFast.net or the Transloc app for updated schedules and temporary stop relocations.
