Bid Whist
Bid Whist is a partnership, trick-taking variant of the classic card game Whist. As indicated by the name, Bid Whist adds a bidding element to the game that is not present in classic Whist.

Bingo
Bingo helps seniors to stay engaged while maintaining focus and mental acuity. Bingo gives seniors a chance to socialize. Participants pay a quarter per game. Winnings go to winning participant of each game. Participation limited to first 40 participants. Please note that due to programming, Bingo will be cancelled on the following dates:

Coffee, Books and More Book Club

Cricut is an American brand of digital die-cutting machines that can create a wide variety of projects, including cards, iron-on designs for clothing, stickers, labels, custom stencils, art, and home decor projects. Participants need a Cricut Joy machine and any design items.

Hand Quilt 'N Patch
Hand quilting is a traditional method of sewing the layers of a quilt together by hand using a needle and thread. Items needed for class include:
-Sewing Machine
-Cutting Mat (no smaller than 24")
-45 mm Rotary Cutter
-2 1/4 yard of Quilting Fabric (100 % cotton and your choice of colors) or 6 1/2" x 6 1/2" squares
-Thread of your choice (polyester preferred)
-Acrylic Quilters Ruler 18 " or larger in length
-Needle Threader
-Embroidery needles (the size you prefer)

Know Your Sewing Machine
Learn the basic 101 of your sewing machine. Cleaning and care, parts, threading, and most of all basic sewing. Pre-registration is required. There will be a maximum of 12 participants only.
Requirements for the class include:
-Must bring your own working machine
-Bring two thread colors
-Bring your machine manual (physical or downloaded on your phone)
-Bring your tools (snippers, scissors, two empty bobbins, pressure foot, all attachments, paper/writing instrument)

Mahjong
Similar to a game of rummy, Mahjong is a game of skill, strategy, and luck. The game is played with a set of 144 tiles based on Chinese characters and symbols. Requires four players. In most variations, each player begins by receiving 13 tiles. Individuals must provide their own cards.

Maribel's Hem and Stitch
Due to class size, available space, and different levels of sewing knowledge, it can be challenging to meet the needs of everyone effectively. To alleviate some of these issues, participants are required to pre-register for Maribel’s Hem & Stitch. Participants must register for each week of the month, and may only sign up for the next calendar month. There will be a maximum of 12 participants only. No walk-ins will be accepted.
Tuesday classes are designed for beginners and for working on class-assigned projects. Thread, pins, and any additional accessories that are needed will be provided. Participants should bring all supplies needed to complete class projects, including, but not limited to snippers, zipper foot, button foot, regular foot, empty bobbin, fabric scissors, seam reaper, measuring tape, fabric markers, sewing clips, and thread catcher.
Thursday classes are dedicated to your own personal sewing projects. Participants should being your own fabric, project, and thread catcher. There will be only two irons available for use. Other supplies are not available for the Thursday class.
Requirements for the class include:
-Intermediate level of sewing knowledge (Completion of Know Your Sewing Machine 101 Class)
-Must bring your own machine
-Follow the assigned project for the month

Matter of Balance
This award-winning program is designed to reduce the fear of falling and increase the activity levels of older adults who have concerns about falls. Classes help participants learn to: view falls and fear of falling as controllable, set realistic goals for increasing activity, change their environment to reduce risk factors, and promote exercise to increase strength and balance. Classes are designed to benefit community-dwelling older adults who: are concerned about falls, have sustained a fall in the past, restrict activities because of concerns about falling, are interested in improving flexibility, balance and strength, are age 60 or older, ambulatory and able to problem-solve. Pre-registration is required and participants must commit to attending at least 6 of the 8 class sessions.

Paint and Sip
During this two-hour art and craft experience, each attendee will receive a pre-sketched themed canvas template and all supplies needed to complete a unique piece of art. No art experience is necessary! Artists will assist you, providing tips and techniques to complete your masterpiece while you groove to a mix of Classic R and B, Soul, Jazz, and more. Come prepared to make art! Bring your own non-alcoholic beverage. Pre-registration is required.

Pinochle
Join others in this trick-taking, ace-ten card game, typically for two to four players and played with a 48-card deck. It is derived from the card game bezique; players score points by trick-taking and by forming combinations of characters into melds.

Pokeno
This is a combination of Bingo and Poker sure to engage your mind and great for socialization. The game has five pots and is played with a deck of cards. Each player pays five cents for each pot. Nickels are preferred. Maximum of 12 players.

Spades
Spades is a trick-taking, 4 player card game of strategy and luck. Spades used a standard 52 card deck with Aces high, 2's low, and Spades trumping all. The objective is to take the number of tricks that were bid before play of the hand began. Spades will help improve your memory, sharpen your mind while you build new relationships and the opportunity to socialize with others.
