Detectives Seek Public’s Assistance Identifying Robbery Suspect
(Fayetteville, NC) – On November 14, 2025, at approximately 11:48 p.m., officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to a robbery that had just occurred at the One Stop Tobacco along the 800 block of Hope Mills Road.
Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department’s Robbery Unit responded and assumed the investigation. The preliminary investigation revealed an unknown male, armed with a black handgun, wearing a blue hoodie and camo pajama pants, entered the business demanding all of the money in the cash register. The clerk complied, and the subject then demanded several cartons of Newport cigarettes. The unknown male fled from the scene on foot with an unknown amount of cash and cigarettes.
Detectives are requesting the public’s assistance identifying the suspect in the photograph provided. Detectives recognize that the suspect’s face is not visible and the photo quality is poor. However, they hope someone may still have information based on the clothing, appearance, or other identifiable details.
