Homicide Investigation
(Fayetteville, NC)- On November 3, 2025, at approximately 5:17 p.m., officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to the report of shots being fired in the 200 block of Waterdown drive. On scene they located a subject suffering from a gunshot wound. Once medical personnel arrived at the scene the victim was transported to a local hospital where they succumbed to the injuries.
The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification to the next of kin.
