Multi-Agency Narcotics Investigation Leads to Arrest
(Fayetteville, NC) – On April 14, 2026, a multi-agency narcotics investigation resulted in the arrest of two individuals and the execution of a search warrant of a residence along the 1900 block of Gatewood Drive, Fayetteville, N.C., resulting in the seizure of narcotics and firearms.
On April 14, 2026, the United States Marshals Service Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Christopher Wayne Lockamy (American Indian male, 26 years of age) of Fayetteville, N.C., without incident, pursuant to an arrest warrant charging him with a felonious drug crime.
In addition to the arrest, a search warrant was contemporaneously executed along the 1900 block of Gatewood Drive in Fayetteville, N.C. by the Fayetteville Police Department’s Narcotics Unit and Gang Unit. This unit operates as a multi-agency collaborative task force. This investigation was led by a detective with the Hope Mills Police Department with the assistance of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
The execution of the search warrant resulted in the seizure of 504 grams of cocaine, 1.5 pounds of marijuana, and 7 firearms.
Christopher Wayne Lockamy (American Indian male, 26 years of age) of Fayetteville, N.C. was arrested without incident and charged with Manufacture Marijuana, Possession with the Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana, two counts of Trafficking in Cocaine, Conspire to Traffic in Cocaine, and Maintaining a Dwelling for the Purpose of Keeping and Selling a Controlled Substance. Christopher Lockamy is currently being held at the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $500,000 secured bond.
Nicholas Eric Lockamy (American Indian male, 25 years of age) of Fayetteville, N.C. was arrested without incident and charged with Manufacture Marijuana, Possession with the Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana, two counts of Trafficking in Cocaine, Conspire to Traffic in Cocaine, Maintaining a Dwelling for the Purpose of Keeping and Selling a Controlled Substance, and Possession of a Weapon of Mass Destruction. Nicholas Lockamy is currently being held at the Cumberland County Detention Center under no bond pursuant to N.C. GS 15A-533(H), being arrested for a new offense while on pretrial release for another pending proceeding.
This is an active investigation. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
