Fayetteville Police Department Launches New Public Records Request Kiosks at All Three Districts

 

(Fayetteville, NC) – The Fayetteville Police Department is pleased to announce the installation of new Public Records Request Kiosks in the lobbies of the Campbellton, Central, and Cross Creek Districts. These kiosks are now available for public use during regular lobby business hours.

The user-friendly kiosks are designed to streamline the public records request process, offering citizens a convenient and efficient way to submit requests, track the status of their inquiries, and receive updates. This new service enhances transparency and customer service by reducing wait times and minimizing the need for in-person assistance.

“We’re committed to making our services more accessible to the community,” said Chief Roberto E. Bryan Jr. “These kiosks help ensure that all residents, including those who may not have internet access at home, have the ability to submit requests and receive timely information.”

    • Campbellton District: 467 Hay Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301 (Police Headquarters)
    • Central District: 3811 Sycamore Dairy Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28303
    • Cross Creek District: 6147 Raeford Road, Fayetteville, NC 28304

     

Each kiosk includes step-by-step printed instructions to guide users through the process. In addition, Records Division staff are available during lobby hours to assist as needed.

Once a request is submitted via the kiosk, users will receive a confirmation email within 48 business hours. A due date, up to 30 business days, will be provided, with updates communicated through the City’s secure Next Request portal.

Public records requests submitted through the kiosks will be processed in accordance with applicable state laws and City of Fayetteville policies. Citizens can continue to submit requests online via the City’s website or in person.
