Detectives Seek Assistance Identifying Armed Robbery Suspect
(Fayetteville, NC) –Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect involved in an armed robbery at First Citizens Bank.

On February 27, 2025, officers responded to a bank robbery at First Citizens Bank. It was determined that the suspect entered the bank wearing a full camo hunting outfit, complete with a hood, glasses, and carrying a note. He approached the teller, claiming he needed to cash a check, and displayed the note demanding money while warning that no one should sound an alarm.
When the staff refused, the suspect brandished a firearm. After the staff did not comply, the suspect took back the note and fled on foot from the business.


The suspect is described as a White male, approximately 5’8” to 5’9” tall, in his 30s, wearing Timberland boots, a camo jumpsuit, and a black beanie.
The suspect fled on foot, heading north on Ramsey Street before entering the woods, where his trail was lost.
