Detectives Seek Information in Shooting Investigation
(Fayetteville, NC) - On Saturday, March 22, 2025, at approximately 8:22 PM, officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to the area of 6900 Cliffdale Rd in reference to a shooting at a local carnival.
Upon arrival, officers located a juvenile victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Due to the victim’s age, their identity is being withheld. The juvenile is currently being treated at a medical facility and remains in critical, yet stable, condition.
Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in the shooting. The public is encouraged to contact Detectives with any information and are also encouraged to submit any videos or photos they may have taken using a mobile device before, during, or after the shooting.
Videos, photos, and other digital media can be submitted anonymously to the Fayetteville / Cumberland County Crimestoppers program by using their online reporting system. Crimestoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information submitted to Crimestoppers that leads to an arrest.
