Arrest in Homicide Investigation

(Fayetteville, NC) – On Wednesday, April 16, 2025, Tyrique Zavier Leroy Williams (Black male, 26 years old) of Fayetteville, NC, was arrested and charged in connection with the murder of Annie Lock. Williams is charged with First Degree Murder and Concealment of Death.

He was arrested by U.S. Army CID at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, and transported to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office in Waynesville, Missouri. He will remain in custody there until arrangements are made for his extradition back to Fayetteville.

The Fayetteville Police Department would like to thank the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Army CID at Fort Bragg, U.S. Army CID at Fort Leonard Wood, and the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance and coordination in this case.

Extradition is currently pending, and a booking photo of Williams is not available at this time.

Death Investigation

(Fayetteville, NC) –On October 10, 2024, Annie Lock (Black female, 27 years old) was reported missing. She was last seen on August 17, 2024, in the area of Kiana Lane.

The Fayetteville Police Department requested public assistance in locating her on October 15, 2024.

On the evening of Sunday, April 13, 2025, the Robeson County Sheriff's Office discovered human remains. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has confirmed the remains belong to Annie Lock.

The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information related to this case is urged to contact the Fayetteville Police Department.

Detectives Request Public’s Assistance Locating Missing Person

(Fayetteville, NC) – The Fayetteville Police Department’s Missing Persons detectives are requesting the public’s assistance in locating Annie Lock (Black female, 27 years old).

Annie Lock was last seen on August 17, 2024, in the area of Kiana Lane. She was reported missing on October 10, 2024.

Annie Lock is described as:

• 5'02" 
• 190 lbs.
• Average build
• Caramel skin tone
• Dark brown eyes
• Black with blue, long braids
• Upper lip frenulum pierced
• Belly button, nose, and tongue also pierced

She has a tattoo of BEAUTY on her right forearm. She has a tattoo of Batman on her right arm. She has a tattoo of stars with letters on her chest. 

She was last seen wearing a black shirt that stated, "My Hero Academia" and gray sweatpants.

She has a unique style of walking called in-toeing.

Detectives have been actively searching for Annie Lock since she was reported missing. They are requesting the public’s assistance in generating additional leads on her whereabouts.
