Media Advisory – Jail N" Bail the Chief

(Fayetteville, NC) – The Fayetteville Police Department, in partnership with the Fayetteville Police Foundation, invites you to a special event to bid farewell to Chief Braden at the Jail N’ Bail Farewell from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM in front of City Hall.

"We are saddened by the news of Chief Braden’s departure as he has always been a great supporter of our charitable efforts. Working with Chief Braden has been an absolute pleasure. Raising funds to support our officers through events like this makes it all worthwhile. Recently, we were able to purchase 12 new handheld lighted STOP signs, which will help Traffic Control Officers keep children safe as they head to school in the early morning hours,” said Melissa Reid Executive Director (of Fayetteville Police Foundation).

Jail N' Bail Farewell is a fun-filled charitable event where participants can take a photo with Chief Braden, sign a card, help keep him in "jail" or help him make "bail," or simply thank him for his dedication to our community.

All funds raised will support the Fayetteville Police Foundation. Let’s give Chief Braden a memorable send-off while raising money for a great cause.

Credential media are invited to attend and cover the event.
