Update to Road Closure – Traffic Fatality
(Fayetteville, NC) – On October 16, 2025, at approximately 12:32 pm officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to a vehicle crash involving a motorcycle and a truck along the 2200 block of Bragg Blvd that resulted in a fatality.
The Fayetteville Police Department’s Traffic Unit arrived on scene and assumed the investigation.
The preliminary investigation revealed a black 2025 Kawasaki ZX636 motorcycle operated by Gage Michael Ogburn (White male, 22 years of age) of Fayetteville, NC was traveling north on Bragg Blvd. A dark grey 2023 Dodge Ram pick-up truck operated by Arletha Ann Miller (White female, 44 years of age) of Fayetteville, NC was traveling in the opposite direction and attempted to make a left turn onto McPherson Road, entering the path of the oncoming motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, Gage Ogburn succumbed to his injuries on scene. His next of kin has been notified.
The initial investigation shows the motorcycle's speed to be the primary factor in this collision. The motorcycle’s approximate speed was 100 mph.
This is an active investigation. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.

On October 16, 2025, at approximately 12:32 pm Officer with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to a vehicle crash involving a motorcycle and a truck along the 2200 block of Bragg Blvd that resulted in a fatality. The identity of the deceased is being withheld until the next of kin has been notified.
This is an active investigation. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
