Update Robbery Suspects Identified in Personal Robbery Case

(Fayetteville, NC) – On April 25, 2026, a personal robbery occurred along the 2700 block of Raeford Road, and the Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department’s Crimes Against Persons (CAPERS) Unit requested the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects.

On April 27, 2026, at approximately 6:13 a.m., officers with the Fayetteville Police Department were dispatched to a residence along the 600 block of Penfield Place in reference to an anonymous call advising one of the robbery suspects was at this location.

Officers arrived on scene and detained a possible male suspect. Detectives from the CAPERS Unit assumed the investigation.

The detained male was identified as one of the males in the surveillance photos. The suspect was identified as a juvenile (Black male, 16 years of age). The juvenile was charged with Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, and Possession of a Handgun by a Minor. The juvenile is currently being held at the Department of Juvenile Justice under a $150,000.00 secured bond.

The second suspect has also been identified as a juvenile (Black male, 16 years of age).

This is an active investigation. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.

Detectives Seek Public’s Assistance Identifying Suspects In A

Personal Robbery Case

(Fayetteville, NC) – Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department’s Crimes Against Persons (CAPERS) Unit are requesting the public’s assistance in a personal robbery investigation that occurred along the 2700 block of Raeford Road on April 25, 2026.

On April 25, 2026, at approximately 12:36 p.m., officers responded to the 2700 block of Raeford Road for reports of a personal robbery. Detectives from the Fayetteville Police Department's CAPERS Unit assumed the investigation.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a male victim made a purchase at a business along the 2700 block of Raeford Road and began returning to his vehicle. While approaching his vehicle, two male suspects ran up to the victim and took his firearm. They pointed the victim's firearm at him and fled on foot. Prior to the robbery, the suspects were in the same business as the victim when the victim was making his purchase.

The suspects are described as younger black males; one has a short, high-top hairstyle, wearing a black hoodie over a red shirt, black pants, and white shoes. The second suspect is wearing a zip-up green-and-grey jacket, black pants, and dark grey shoes. Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the pictured individuals involved in the robbery.
