Update to Runaway Juvenile

(Fayetteville, NC) – Lesedric Buchanan has been located and is safe. There is no additional information to provide.

 

Youth Detectives Seek Public’s Assistance Locating Runaway Juvenile

(Fayetteville, NC) –The Fayetteville Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Lesedric Buchanan (Black male, 12 years of age) of Fayetteville, N.C., who has been reported as a runaway.

On February 27, 2026, Lesedric Buchanan was reported as a runaway. Buchanan was last seen at the Cricle K located at 1302 Robeson Street walking towards Village Drive. Buchanan was possibly sighted by a family member in the area of Laurinburg, NC but was he unable to be located.           

Lesedric Buchanan is described as:

  • Black male
  • 12 years of age
  • 5’07
  • 180 pounds
  • Brown hair with orange dye spots on right side
  • Brown eyes
  • Last seen wearing red sweatpants, tan bubble slides, black shirt/ hoodie.
