Youth Detectives Seek Public’s Assistance Locating Runaway Juvenile

           

(Fayetteville, NC) –The Fayetteville Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Simmion Cannon (Black male, 17 years of age) of Fayetteville, N.C., who has been reported as a runaway.

On January 30, 2026, Simmion Cannon was reported as a runaway. Cannon was last seen on December 16, 2025, and was in the company of his grandfather, Christopher Johnson along the 3700 block of Bragg Blvd. The Department of Social Services has legal custody of Cannon and there was a delay in notification to DSS that Cannon had run away until December 19, 2025. The social worker had last telephone contact with the juvenile on December 26, 2025.           

Simmion Cannon is described as:

  • Black male
  • 17 years of age
  • 5’08
  • 120 pounds
  • Black hair
  • Hazel eyes

Simmion is known to frequent the area of Motel 6 and Knights Inn on Bragg Blvd. in Fayetteville, N.C.
