Budget meetings set to discuss FY 2026 budget

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The city of Fayetteville will host a series of budget work sessions to discuss the city’s budget for fiscal year 2026. Sessions will be held on May 15, 22, and 29 at 10 a.m. at City Hall.

Community members will have an opportunity to provide feedback on how city funds are allocated during the public hearing at the City council regular meeting held on May 27 at 6:30 p.m.

Residents who wish to speak at the public hearing can sign up with the City Clerk by registering on the website at FayettevilleNC.gov/clerk, by phone at 910-433-1989 or by email at CityClerk@FayettevilleNC.gov.

Anyone desiring to speak must sign up by 5:00 p.m. the day of the meeting.  The budget work sessions will be open to the public, and audiences can watch live on the City's government access channel, FayTV.

FayTV can be viewed on Spectrum channel 7, downloaded on smart TVs and streaming devices, or streamed online at FayTV.net.
