City to host listening sessions on proposed UDO amendments

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The City of Fayetteville will host three community listening sessions on Wednesday, Sept. 30, to hear feedback from residents on the proposed Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) amendments for telecommunications and data storage facilities. 

Residents can share their comments on topics including water, electricity, emissions, setbacks, appearance and noise. City staff will be on-site to listen and record the comments shared. 

Listening sessions will be held at the following locations:  

• College Lakes Recreation Center; 4945 Rosehill Road: 10 a.m.–noon 
• Massey Hill Recreation Center,1612 Camden Road: 2–4 p.m. 
• Cliffdale Recreation Center, 6404 Cliffdale Road: 6–8 p.m. 

No ordinance has been adopted. Comments gathered during the sessions will help inform the City’s consideration of the proposed amendments. 

Residents who cannot attend can review the proposed amendments and share feedback through an online form on the City’s website at FayettevilleNC.gov/UDOAmendments.
