FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — On Saturday, Dec. 6, the Fayetteville Regional Airport (FAY) welcomed families traveling through the airport as part of the Gary Sinise Foundation’s annual Snowball Express program.

Each year, American Airlines, in partnership with the Gary Sinise Foundation’s Snowball Express, partner with airports to host a special send-off celebration for families of fallen U.S. military service members traveling to Orlando for a healing and remembrance experience at Walt Disney World Resort.

“Fayetteville Regional Airport was proud to welcome Snowball Express families once again,” said Airport Director Andrew LaGala. “This is always a special moment for our team and our community, and we’re excited to help create a smooth, uplifting start to their journey.”

The Snowball Express program, operated by the Gary Sinise Foundation, creates an uplifting and supportive experience for families of fallen military heroes. The multi-day event includes remembrance ceremonies and community-building activities at Walt Disney World, offering participants an opportunity to connect with others who share similar experiences.
