Fayetteville Next to host 2026 Next Generation Business Summit

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The Fayetteville NEXT Advisory Commission, in partnership with Fayetteville State University’s The Matriculation Institute, proudly announces the third Next Generation Business Summit on Tuesday, April 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event will take place on the campus of Fayetteville State University in the Randolph Jones Student Center, 692 W.T. Brown Drive.
This year’s summit convenes emerging leaders, entrepreneurs, students and professionals from across the region for a full day of connection, insight and opportunity focused on building the future of business and leadership in Fayetteville and beyond.
“The Next Generation Business Summit reflects our commitment to cultivating leadership, supporting entrepreneurship, and creating pathways for long-term economic growth in Fayetteville,” said Nathan Cuffee, Chair of the Fayetteville NEXT Advisory Commission. “By investing in spaces where emerging leaders can connect, learn, and be inspired, we are actively shaping a stronger, more resilient future for our City.”
Event Highlights:
Two dynamic panel discussions featuring local and regional leaders Networking opportunities with business professionals and innovators Resource sharing for aspiring entrepreneurs and career-driven individuals Complimentary lunch and networking session from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Each registered attendee will receive a free ticket to the Fayetteville Woodpeckers game on April 21, 2026, courtesy of the team
The summit will feature two engaging panels:
Community Panel | 10:00 a.m.
A conversation centered on leadership, civic engagement, and building stronger communities through collaboration and service.
Lunch and Networking | 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Attendees will enjoy a complimentary lunch while connecting with fellow professionals, panelists, and community leaders.
Next Generation Entrepreneur and Innovation Panel | 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Focused on entrepreneurship, innovation, and the evolving landscape of business, this panel will highlight founders and leaders who are shaping the next generation of economic growth.
Serving as Master of Ceremony is Kwame Molden, bringing energy and insight to guide attendees through the day’s programming.
“This summit is about creating access, building connections, and equipping the next generation with the tools they need to lead and succeed,” said L’queitah Miller, Vice Chairwoman of the Fayetteville NEXT Advisory Commission. “We are intentional about bringing together voices that reflect the talent, innovation, and leadership present in our community.”
The 2026 Next Generation Business Summit is made possible through the support of key partners, including the Fayetteville Woodpeckers, who are providing attendees with a game-day experience following the event.
