Fayetteville hosts second Late Night Fun Night for teens

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The city will host the second Late Night Fun Night event aimed at providing a safe and engaging environment for local youth ages 12 to 17 on July 11 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. This event will be held at the College Lakes Recreation Center, located at 4945 Rosehill Road.
Teens will participate in activities that includes basketball, board and card games, video gaming. This event will also feature a special indoor hockey tournament hosted by the Fayetteville Marksmen team. Nonprofit community partners will also be in attendance to support youth by offering mentorship opportunities.
Food will be provided.
Youth that plan to attend must pre-register by Thursday, July 10 at 5 p.m. at FayettevilleNC.gov/OCS.
The Late Night Youth Program, developed through the Office of Community Safety, is focused on supporting the personal development of youth through mentorship and engaging activities. By providing a safe and welcoming environment during late evening hours, the program aims help reduce risk factors that can lead to negative outcomes for young people in the city.
