FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks and Recreation (FCPR) splash pads will open for the season on May 1 at 10 a.m.
Splash pads are free and open to the public Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (3 p.m. to 7 p.m. while school is in session at Gray’s Creek, Lake Rim, and Spivey; 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. while school is in session at *E. Melvin Honeycutt and Massey Hill) and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
*E. Melvin Honeycutt Splash Pad will have an anticipated delayed opening.
Splash pads are open to all ages and operate in timed cycles, which can be activated by pressing the button located on a nearby pole or ground pad.
Splash pads will close for the season on September 30.
