Journeys into the Twilight Zone
Submit for your approval: a quiet room, the flicker of a black-and-white projector, the scent of fresh popcorn in the air, and a weekly passage into worlds where the impossible is merely the beginning. This October through Halloween, Journeys into the Twilight Zone invites you to spend two unforgettable hours each week exploring classic episodes that dwell in that shadowy place between science and superstition.

Thanksgiving Basketball Jam
Join us for the Thanksgiving Basketball Jam, a fun and community-focused recreation program designed to bring people together through the game of basketball. Over the course of a few hours on November 27, participants can enjoy friendly pickup games, shooting challenges, light competitions, and open gym time in a relaxed holiday atmosphere. Families, friends, and local players can connect, compete, and celebrate the season together. Whether you’re stepping on the court or cheering from the sidelines, the Thanksgiving Basketball Jam is all about positive energy, community spirit, and enjoying the holidays through recreation.

Holiday Coloring Contest
Dust off your art supplies and get creative with E. E. Miller’s Holiday Coloring Contest! Designed for children of all ages, E. E. Miller will be giving out gift baskets to the top 3. Design your own holiday themed drawing and submit to E. E. Miller Staff by Friday December 18. Alternatively, we will have coloring sheets available for smaller children! Winners will be chosen the following week! All entries will be posted on the walls at E. E. Miller Recreation Center for the entire holiday season! All entries must include Contact information!

New Year’s Retro Dance Party
Travel through the decades and dance your way into the New Year! This all-ages event is especially geared toward kids and families who want to celebrate by reliving the styles, music, and fun of years gone by. Dress up in your favorite fashions from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, or 90s and enjoy an evening of retro tunes, dancing, snacks, drinks, games, and more. Whether you're rocking poodle skirts, bell-bottoms, neon colors, or grunge flannel, come ready to party through the decades as we ring in the New Year together!
