Intro to Pickleball

Pickled on how to play pickleball? Come check out our courts at Eastover Community Park and get involved with our local pickleball group. We will teach you the basics and get you hooked on the game. Call the recreation center for more details and to pre-register. Starting back after March 12.

Senior Citizens Fitness Morning

The Senior Walking Club is perfect for seniors trying to get a little exercise in a friendly, enclosed environment in our gymnasium. Whether it's rainy or sunny outside, you will always have a chance to get your walk on!

Quilting Night

A Unique S.C.E.N.T.

If you enjoy listening to live music then join us for Senior Citizens Entertainment Night every Tues. Each night will feature a style of music such as bluegrass, country /western, gospel and oldies. If you are interested in showcasing your musical talent, then call for more information and sign up to perform.

Home School Gym Time

If you are looking for a place to incorporate gym time in your home school curriculum, then stop by the recreation center! We will have gym equipment for you to play various games or you can bring your own. This program will end during the summer months.

Zumba

Zumba is a dance fitness program that fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness class. Burn calories and have fun doing it during the hour of heart racing, muscle pumping, and body energizing movements that will engage and captivate you. Dance yourself into shape and shrink everything, but your smile!

Open Gym

The gym will be open to shoot around or play a game of basketball with others. Open Gym is suspended when athletic events are scheduled in the gym and is subject to change depending on recreation center programs or events.

Interested in a fun and competitive basketball event? Come out to Eastover Recreation Center and enjoy an exciting Coaches vs Players basketball game! This event is all about fun, teamwork, and bringing our community together. Families and friends are welcome to attend and cheer on their favorite team. Don’t miss this Friday night show down! Flashlight Eggs-Travaganza!

Join us for our fourth annual Flashlight Eggs-Travaganza! Bring your flashlight and join others in this nighttime hunt for eggs! Please pre-register by March 21 to have an egg-ceptional time. Come early to get your photo with the Easter Bunny!

Mother’s Day Bingo Night 

Join us for a fun and relaxing Mother’s Day Bingo Night as we celebrate all the amazing moms in our community! Bring your family and enjoy an evening filled with bingo, laughter, and special moments. King of the Court (Dad Edition) 

Calling all dads! Join us for King of the Court (Dad Edition) a fun and competitive basketball event where dads take the court and battle for bragging rights. No matter what your skill level is, all dads are encouraged to participate. Players will rotate through short games, and the winning team stays on the court until they are challenged. This event is all about fun, friendly competition, and celebrating fathers in our community. Pre-register by June 5.

Splash & Play Day

Beat the heat and join us for Splash & Play Day! Bring the whole family out for a fun-filled day of water games, activities, and summer excitement. This event is designed for kids and families to cool off, play, and enjoy time together. Activities may include water games, splash stations, and outdoor play. Be sure to wear clothes, you don’t mind getting wet! This event will be held at Eastover Ball Park. Must register by July 4.

Come visit us during Eastover-Central Elementary School open house to learn more about our youth programs and upcoming youth sports.

Little Kickers Soccer 

If your little one is interested in playing soccer, then this program is for you. Registration is June 1-August 1. Season will start in September. League age is the age attained by a player prior to Dec.1 of the current playing year.  
3-4 yrs; Dates are TBD; $40 for resident, $80 for non-resident
