Thompson Cheer

The Thompson cheerleading class scheduled on Thursdays from 6-7:30 pm ensures a comprehensive and engaging experience for participants. It begins with name tags, a warm-up, and a cardio kick start to energize everyone. This is followed by an overview of cheer motions, focusing on precision and confidence, and a safety chat on stunting and tumbling led by Coach Thompson. The session wraps up with a self-care circle and connection time, leading into age-specific rotational groups where students practice stunting, tumbling, and cheerleading motions, all tailored to their skill levels.

Gray’s Creek Outreach Senior Club

The Grays Creek “Outreach” Senior Citizens Club is the place to be if you enjoy fellowship, fun, and laughter. Activities include informational speakers, games, arts and crafts, trips and covered dish lunches. Spring Paint Class-Paint and Create with Sarah

Join us for a fun evening of creativity. Sarah will teach you step by step a beginner painting on 11 x 14 canvas (the painting will be advertised 4 weeks before the class). No experience necessary! Fee includes all supplies and instruction.

Shamrock Lucky Dance Party

Bring your child to the rec center for this St. Patrick’s Day themed dance night!  Kids can dance the night away in the gymnasium or Multipurpose room and parents can get a night out. Pre-registration is required no later than March 11.

Easter Egg Hunt

Come one, come all! We hope that you can find them all. Come join us as we prepare for the Easter Holiday with an egg hunt. There will be a golden egg with a special surprise for one lucky hunter in each age group! There will be music and other games for the children to play as well. We will divide into age groups so that each group has a fair chance.

JD Pone Beautification Project

Need community service hours or interested in volunteering to make your community space more enjoyable? Well, roll up your sleeves and let’s get to work! We will spend time picking up trash, planting flowers, and pulling weeds to make our space more beautiful than ever. Please confirm your interest with recreation staff.

Patriotic Family Paint Night Class

Come along and have some fun with your child while you each paint your own 8 x 10 canvas. Come out for some creative fun with your family and friends to paint a Patriotic themed painting. All adults and children are welcome at this event. It’s for the big kids and little kids!  Fee includes all supplies and instruction.
