All suspects, and persons charged with a crime, are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Persons of interest are believed to have information relating to a case, and have not been charged unless stated otherwise.

 

Arrest Made in Investigation of Multiple Robberies

(Fayetteville, NC) – In the months of April and May of this year, Fayetteville Police Department Detectives responded to and investigated several armed robbery incidents around the Murchison Rd/Pamalee Dr area. These incidents involved a pizza order being placed to a vacant residence and the delivery driver being robbed at gunpoint of their belongings and vehicle when they arrived to complete the order.

 

Fayetteville Police Department Crimes Against Persons (CAPERS) Detectives diligently investigated these incidents and charged Kabron Thaggard (black male, 22 years of age) with the following charges for his involvement with the robberies: 2 counts of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, 2 counts of Second Degree Kidnapping, 2 counts of Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle, 2 counts of Felony Possession of Stolen Property, 2 counts of Felony Conspiracy, 1 count of Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle, 1 count of Felony Fleeing to Elude, 1 count of Possession of a Weapon of Mass Destruction.

 

Thaggard was apprehended by the Fayetteville Police Department’s Violent Criminal Apprehension Team (VCAT) on October 7th, 2025 without incident. He is currently being held at the Cumberland County Detention Center on a $450,000 secured bond.
