Crime Stoppers Tip Leads to Narcotics Arrest

Crime Stoppers Tip Leads to Narcotics Arrest  

(Fayetteville, NC) – Officers with the Fayetteville Police Department received a Crime Stoppers Tip into the sales of illegal narcotics along the 5600 block of Bragg Blvd. The Crime Stoppers Tip led to an arrest, the seizure of narcotics, and a handgun.

On September 20, 2025, at approximately 2:20 pm officers were investigating a Crime Stoppers Tip into a male selling illegal narcotics along the 5600 block of Bragg Blvd. During the investigation, officers observed the described male and found his actions consistent with the sale of illegal narcotics based on the Crime Stoppers tip.

Officers approached the male suspect, Floyd Lamar Neal (black male, 34 years of age) of Fayetteville, NC, in a business along the 5600 block of Bragg Blvd. Neal was taken into custody without incident. A search of Neal's belongings led to the seizure of 52 grams of Marijuana and a Glock 26 Handgun.  

Floyd Neal was charged with Possession With the Intent to Sell or Deliver Marijuana and Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. Neal was held at the Cumberland County Detention Center under a 10,000.00 secured bond. Neal has posted bond and was released from the Cumberland County Detention Center.
