If your child needs some extra assistance with their school work, join our weekly tutoring program.

Fantasy Football Digest

Calling all NFL lovers! If you hooked on fantasy football throughout the season, come out and let's talk football following that week's NFL slate. Let's go over your fantasy team, trades or anything else football related.

Jabez Youth Organization

(Academics, Sports, Arts and Social Programs) Our vision is to reach at-risk youth and families; spiritually, mentally and physically. We will be tutoring K-4 students in reading and math and providing physical activities such as soccer, golf and fun days.

Girl Scouts

Open Gym

The gym will be open to shoot around or play a basketball game with others. Open Gym is suspended when athletic events are scheduled in the gym and is subject to change depending on recreation center programs or events.

Youth Basketball Drop-Ins

Participants will have the opportunity to engage in informal games, practice fundamental basketball techniques, and build teamwork and sportsmanship through friendly competition. Recreation staff will supervise play, organize teams, and ensure a safe and positive atmosphere for all participants regardless of skill level.

New Year, New You Fitness Challenge

Start the year strong with the New Year, New You Fitness Challenge! This motivating wellness program is designed to help participants establish healthy habits, improve their fitness levels, and achieve personal wellness goals in a supportive and encouraging environment. This will be a 6-week program, new exercises weekly.

Back 2 School Bash

Join us at 500 Fisher Street as we partner with the Police Department to enjoy music, food, family and a school supply giveaway!

Labor Day Pickleball Tournament

Celebrate the Labor Day holiday with friendly competition and community spirit. All skill levels welcome! There will be a doubles and mixed doubles bracket. Medals will be awarded, and light refreshments will be served. Pre-registration is required.
13+; Sat., Sept. 5; 10 am-3 pm; $5/person

Pumpkin Decorating Contest

This family-friendly event invites participants to design and decorate pumpkins using paint, markers, accessories, and other craft materials. Participants can showcase their creativity by creating festive, funny, spooky, or unique pumpkin designs while competing for prizes and recognition. Pre-registration is required.

Thanksgiving Dessert Competition

This festive community event invites participants to prepare and submit their favorite homemade desserts for a friendly culinary competition. From classic pumpkin pies and pecan pies to creative cakes, cookies, and family recipes, contestants will have the opportunity to share their holiday treats and compete for prizes and bragging rights.

Winter Wonderland Family Night

This festive event brings families together for an evening filled with holiday-themed activities, entertainment, crafts, and community fun. Participants will enjoy a variety of interactive stations, seasonal games, music, and refreshments in a warm and welcoming winter atmosphere.

Basketball Jamboree

Get ready to tip off an action-packed day at our Basketball Jamboree, which is a high-energy event celebrating teamwork, sportsmanship, and love for the game! This jamboree brings together rec teams from across the city for a day of friendly competition, and community fun.

Valentine’s Paint and Sip

Whether attending with a spouse, partner, friend, or solo, participants will enjoy an evening of creativity, socialization, and self-expression while celebrating Valentine's Day in a unique and memorable way. Light refreshments will be served.
